Peoples Drug Mart hosts an annual Golf Tournament that has raised over $385,000.00 and runs several ALS fundraisers.

..Peoples Drug Mart is a provincial partner with the ALS Society of B.C., a non-profit organization. ALS (Amytrophic Lateral Sclerosis) is a devastating neuromuscular disease that robs people of their mobility, independence and eventually their lives. There is currently no known cause or cure, and it claims the lives of 2 to 3 Canadians every day.

"We're committed to finding a cure for ALS", says Wendy Magee, Executive director of the ALS Society of B.C., "and until one is found , we are working hard to provide a quality of life to those who are living with ALS. Peoples Drug Mart has embraced that vision with their corporate goal of "Helping People Live Better Lives", and they are really demonstrating that.".
... The 50 stores throughout BC and Alberta will support the ALS Society of B.C. through fundraisers as well as providing benefits directly to those living with ALS.
