higher end brands because they are in a nicer cream base. You probably won’t want to wear the sunscreen if it is greasy or smells funny. If you don’t like to use sunscreen, perhaps a good moisturizing sunburn cream will be helpful. I like a homeopathic one called Calendula. Aloe Vera also works well too. I often recommend a homeopathic medication for cold sores called Apis 30CH. Five tablets are dissolved under the tongue every two hours at the first sign of that tingling sensation. People often report great success with this remedy.
.....I almost forgot my to tell you
about one of the weird things I do. Don’t worry, you don’t have to stop reading if you are squeamish; it is not that weird. My toothbrushes are always stored in a glass with enough vinegar to submerge the bristles. I did this after I read somewhere that people should throw out their toothbrush after they recover from a cold. It makes sense; you swish this brush in a bacteria and virus filled cavity, then store it wet at room temperature for up to twelve hours at a time. Then you stick it back in your mouth; this is just yucky. Vinegar has enough antiseptic power to kill most bacteria and viruses. Just rinse it off before you use it and replace the glass and vinegar every month.
.....These ideas should get help to get you started; from here you can make your own list. Think back over the past year; what medicine did you wish you had on hand at one time or another. Perhaps it was something for nausea, or maybe it was gas. Ask your Peoples Pharmacist if they have any suggestions.
