this information will be useful.
.....I feel the best place to keep track of important information is on your wall calendar. Most people have a small wall calender; the kind with a pretty picture above the monthly calendar. I can't see my pretty picture because it is full of important date sensitive reminders. Start a note for your Doctor or Pharmacist. If you need to ask for medication refills on your next Doctors visit, mark it down on that note. If you think of any questions to ask your Doctor or Pharmacist, mark it down on that note. Never assume that any question is too silly or unimportant to
ask. Write down the date that you expect important lab results to be available. If you have not been contacted by this date, get in touch with your Doctors office. It is your right as a patient to ask questions about things that might affect your health.
.....If you want to go one step further, keep the medication printouts from your Pharmacist in a special binder. This way you can refer to them at a later date. Do the same for any information about medical conditions or questions you may have asked. Don't always assume you will remember everything your Doctor or Pharmacist
tells you. I never assume that I will remember everything someone tells me; I usually write the important points down for later referral.
.....It is in everyone’s best interest if you help keep track of your health care needs. The person who will benefit most is yourself. By being more organized, you will get more out of your Doctor’s visits. You are less likely to forget to get the answers you need. If you have any questions, be sure to ask your Peoples Pharmacist. They are always ready to help when you need them.
